Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 May 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Sidcom MCP platform at sidcom.app and its integration subdomains (e.g. fortnox.sidcom.app, valu8.sidcom.app) — collectively "the Service" — operated by Sidcom AB, Sweden ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Sidcom provides MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration servers that let AI assistants such as Claude interact with third-party business APIs on your behalf. Each integration is an authenticated bridge between an AI client and an external provider (Fortnox, Valu8, OpenBanking, and so on). We may add, change, or remove integrations and features at any time.

2. Authentication and access

  • To use an integration you must authenticate with the underlying third-party provider — either via that provider's OAuth flow or by supplying credentials they issue to you.
  • You are responsible for keeping your AI client (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, etc.) and any local configuration secure. Don't share your MCP tokens.
  • You must have a valid licence or subscription with each third-party provider you connect through the Service.
  • We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that puts the Service or other users at risk.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of the underlying provider's terms.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or authentication mechanisms.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract source code or non-public data from the Service.
  • Use the Service to transmit malware or to attack the Service or its providers.
  • Impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent your authorization to access an account.

4. Your data and content

You retain ownership of all business data that passes through the Service. By using an integration you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to transmit and process that data solely to fulfil the API calls you (or your AI client acting on your behalf) initiate.

The Service is a transit layer — it is not a backup, archive, or system of record. See our Privacy Policy for what is and isn't stored.

5. AI assistants and tool calls

Tool calls are issued by the AI client you connect (e.g. Claude). The Service executes the API calls those tools describe. You are responsible for reviewing what your AI client does on your behalf — particularly for actions that create, update, or delete data in the connected provider. We are not liable for AI-initiated actions you authorized.

6. Third-party services

Each integration depends on a third-party API (Fortnox, Valu8, etc.) with its own terms of service and privacy policy. Your use of those APIs through the Service is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, pricing, or conduct of any third-party service.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service running reliably but make no uptime guarantee. Maintenance, third-party outages, or unforeseen issues may cause downtime. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) EUR 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, or data.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the MCP server from your AI client and revoking access at the third-party provider. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if continued operation poses a legal or security risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Sweden, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
